Marking the SME Week 2017 with the theme: Moving Towards Skilled, Market-driven and Engaged MSMEs was a series of trainings for MSMEs and an E-Commerce forum recently held at the Philippine Trade Training Center.

Opening the event was an inspirational message from Department of Trade and Industry Assistant Secretary Rosvi C. Gaetos, who is an advocate of digitizing business of MSMEs. Asec. Gaetos is also the concurrent head of the Program Management Office that oversees the implementation of the Go Lokal! Stores project, a priority project of DTI.

PTTC head, Executive Director Nestor Palabyab, says that industry training for MSMEs are held yearly at the PTTC; and this year’s series of training have their own stories to tell whereby participants can choose from. PTTC is located in Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue corner Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City.
