Department of Trade & Industry- Rizal, in a strong alliance with Meralco, SARAP Inc., REMAI, Taytay Garments, CARP Rizal and Tindahang Rizaleño (OTOP Hub), launched a high-impact 3-day trade fair that turned heads and opened wallets. Held at the Lopez Building, Meralco, this initiative was not just another bazaar—it was a statement of what empowered MSMEs can achieve when given the right platform.

“Powering Up Rizal: An MSME Fair for Meralco Associates” brought together 24 standout Rizaleño enterprises, each showcasing a curated line of proudly local products—from gourmet food and beverages to heritage crafts and lifestyle goods. These were not just booths—they were brand experiences.

The event was formally opened by DTI-4A Assistant Regional Director Revelyn Cortez, joined by Mr. Mike Antonio of Meralco, Ms. Charo Ola of SARAP Inc., and Ms. Fawziyyah Maridul of REMAI. Their presence underscored the weight of this collaboration and the shared mission to champion local entrepreneurship at scale.

The turnout? Over 2,000 Meralco associates flocked to the fair—buying, engaging, and showing solid support deriving to an estimated total output of P500,000, both negotiated and retail sales. For Rizal’s MSMEs, this wasn’t just about sales. It was about market expansion, brand validation, and momentum.
