
Victoria, Laguna — On 9 July 2025, a successful webinar titled “Quality Customer Service: Tulay sa Negosyong Panalo” was conducted by the Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) through the joint efforts of Negosyo Center Business Counsellors (NCBCs) assigned in San Pablo City, Calauan, Biñan City, and San Pedro City.
The webinar aimed to equip microentrepreneurs with essential knowledge and practical tools to enhance their customer service practices. In today’s highly competitive and digitally driven business environment, excellent customer service remains a crucial pillar of business success. By prioritizing quality service, entrepreneurs can foster customer satisfaction, build brand loyalty, and increase business resilience and profitability.
The event opened with a message from Mr. Christian Ted O. Tungohan, Provincial Director of DTI-Laguna, who emphasized the critical role of customer service in driving business growth and long-term success.



Following the opening remarks, Ms. Nikki Rose M. Repol, NCBC from San Pedro City, shared valuable insights on Consumer Education. She discussed consumer rights and responsibilities and emphasized the importance of being both a responsible consumer and a business that delivers quality products and services.
Ms. Roxane Fatima A. Garcia, NCBC from Biñan City, further elaborated on the significance of delivering exceptional customer service. She highlighted that when customers feel valued and their needs are addressed promptly, they are more likely to remain loyal. This loyalty often results in repeat business and consistent revenue. Moreover, satisfied customers can become brand advocates, spreading positive word-of-mouth and attracting new clients.
Participants expressed that the webinar significantly boosted their confidence and readiness to manage their own businesses in the future. Evaluation results reflected high levels of satisfaction, indicating that the webinar successfully met its goals of promoting consumer education and reinforcing the value of quality customer service in business (RYPGatdula, DTI-Laguna). ♦
