Inspirational Thought Leadership and Futuristic Innovation

The forum featured two highly anticipated keynote presentations that captured the audience’s imagination and sparked dynamic dialogue.

Atty. Cesar Geronimo, former CEO of Monde Nissin Thailand, delivered a powerful keynote address titled “Building Trust and Integrity in Business: The Foundation of Sustainable Growth.” Drawing from decades of leadership experience in both loca1 and international business environments, Atty. Geronimo highlighted how ethical conduct, transparency, and trust are not just moral imperatives but also essential drivers of long-term business success. His talk served as a timely reminder that in today’s world, the reputation of a business can be its most valuable asset.

Following this, Mr. Alex Takeda Lagata, Jr., Global Business Director of Rinna Co. Ltd. Japan, presented on the emerging frontier of artificial intelligence in business through his talk, “Scaling Your Business through Customer Development via Interactive AI Avatars.” Lagata introduced participants to cutting-edge technologies that are revolutionizing how businesses understand and interact with customers. He demonstrated how AI-powered avatars and conversational interfaces can help even small businesses deliver personalized customer experiences at scale — a potential game-changer for MSMEs looking to grow in digital markets.

Interactive Open Forum Fosters Grassroots Dialogue

A highlight of the event was the open forum session, where participants took the opportunity to directly engage with the speakers. Local entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners raised pressing questions on topics ranging from ethical decision-making and customer trust-building to the practical application of AI in traditional business models. The speakers responded with practical advice, real-world anecdotes, and a consistent message: the future of MSMEs lies in ethical leadership, technological readiness, and collaborative community support.

A Vision for Shared Progress

The event concluded with inspiring closing remarks from Hon. Trophy Tolentino, Municipal Councilor of Sta. Cruz and Founder of PCCI Sta. Cruz. He praised the event’s success and reaffirmed the municipal government’s commitment to advancing Sta. Cruz as a hub for socially responsible and future-ready business. He emphasized the role of forums like this in shaping a new generation of entrepreneurs who will lead not just with profit in mind, but with a greater purpose — to uplift communities, protect the environment, and contribute to national development.

“This forum is only the beginning,” Tolentino declared. “Together, we will build a future where Sta. Cruz MSMEs do not just survive, but lead with integrity, innovate boldly, and thrive sustainably.”
