As part of the National MSME Week 2025 celebration, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Laguna Provincial Office, through its Negosyo Center Business Councilors in Lumban, Paete, Pakil, Santa Maria, and Cavinti, successfully held a webinar titled “Customer Engagement and Satisfaction Feedback Programs” on July 11, 2025. The session aimed to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) better connect with their customers, understand their needs, and improve their services through feedback.

Opening the virtual event, DTI Laguna Provincial Director Christian Ted O. Tungohan stressed the importance of listening to customers and building trust. “Understanding and responding to customer needs is not only good service, it’s smart business,” said Tungohan. He encouraged the MSMEs to treat customer satisfaction as a key part of growth.

The webinar featured Mr. Nico A. Toriano as the resource speaker, who gave an insightful talk on how to gather and use customer feedback to improve products and services. He shared simple but effective strategies like using surveys, digital forms, suggestion boxes, and keeping open lines of communication to build loyalty and trust.

Participants actively took part in the session, sharing their own stories and asking questions. Many found the webinar helpful, especially in learning practical ways to make customers feel valued.

By the end of the session, MSMEs walked away with tools and ideas they could apply right away in their businesses. The event wrapped up with a strong reminder that happy and engaged customers are at the heart of any successful enterprise. Through initiatives like this, DTI Laguna continues to support local entrepreneurs, helping them grow not only through sales but through stronger, more meaningful connections with the people they serve (JEDelMundo, DTI-Laguna). ♦
