
Siniloan, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry-Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna), in partnership with CARE Philippines (Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere), successfully conducted the third session of the Entrepreneurship Program: Training of Trainers on June 11, 2025, at Lola Paulina’s Garden in Siniloan, Laguna.
This continuing initiative aims to empower Asenso sa Good Agriculture Packages (aGAP) Roving Agents with vital knowledge and practical skills in entrepreneurship, preparing them to become effective trainers and community leaders who can inspire and mentor future business owners.
The session opened with a prayer led by Mr. Kent Arvin D. Cainto, Business Counsellor from Negosyo Center Sta. Maria. A series of interactive lectures followed, covering topics such as Teamwork and Collaboration, Money In, Money Out, Managing My Business Finances, Effective Speaking, and Preparing for the Pitch. These were facilitated by Trade and Industry Development Analyst Ms. Portia Sophia Cortezano and Business Counsellors Mr. Kent Arvin D. Cainto (NC Sta. Maria), Ms. Rica Mae E. Garcia (NC Majayjay), and Mr. Carl Eric L. Villanueva (NC Magdalena).



Participants remained highly engaged throughout the session and expressed their excitement for the upcoming modules. With strengthened knowledge and growing confidence, they are eager to apply their learnings and contribute to the growth and resilience of local enterprises.
The Entrepreneurship Training of Trainers Program is part of the broader efforts of DTI-Laguna and CARE Philippines to promote inclusive and sustainable economic development in grassroots communities (AIMacuha, DTI-Laguna) ♦
