10 March 2025 — The Provincial Government of Isabela, led by Atty. Elizabeth C. Binag, and officials from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 headed by Regional Director Ma. Sofia G. Narag, CESO V has arrived in Tokyo, Japan to prepare for their participation in Foodex Japan 2025—the largest food and beverage trade show in Asia.

The delegation, which includes four Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) from Isabela—JBM Food Products, 3 Shers Food Products, EJ Contreras Food House, and KMK Food Products—paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency Mylene J. Garcia-Albano, the Philippine Ambassador to Japan. Discussions focused on trade opportunities, export facilitation, and potential market linkages for Isabela’s premium food products.

Following the courtesy visit, the exhibitors completed the ingress at Tokyo Big Sight, setting up their booths to showcase calamansi juice, okra chips, cornicks, and gourmet tuyo. It will also feature Gin-C for market testing. The delegation looks forward to officially opening their participation on 11 March 2025 as they join the global stage at Foodex Japan
