Cabagan, Isabela — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2, led by Regional Director, Ma. Sofia G. Narag, CESO V along with DTI R2 Isabela Provincial Director Atty. Cyrus I. Restauro, OTOP Marketing Head Desiree S. Angolluan, and other DTI R2 Key Officers showed support for the Municipality of Cabagan, headed by the Municipal Mayor Atty. Christopher Mamauag and Municipal Vice Mayor Hon. Lovier Masigan, during the vibrant kick-off of the One Town, One Product (OTOP) Showcase and Agri Trade Fair and Exhibit, which took place on 16 January 2025 at the Municipal Grounds, Cabagan, Isabela coinciding with its Grand Fiesta celebration.

In her message, RD Narag emphasized the DTI’s support of the OTOP and Agri-Trade Fair, underscoring its commitment to fostering initiatives where local businesses can thrive. She also expressed the agency’s continuous effort to provide essential resources, training, and support to ensure tailored support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and clients. “Together, we can forge valuable connections and pursue new opportunities that transform our common vision into reality, nurture sustainable development, and cultivate an environment where businesses thrive, communities prosper, and our cultural heritage shines brightly,” RD Narag said.

The OTOP and Agri-Trade Fair showcase a wide array of locally crafted products, agricultural innovations, and entrepreneurial ventures, from delectable processed goods and agricultural products to exquisite traditional crafts, all produced by local artisans, MSMEs, and farmers from Region 2.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the vibrant displays, engage with the exhibitors, and support this engaging activity, which will run until 25 January 2025.
