Taipei, Taiwan — As part of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Integrated Trade and Investment Promotion Campaign, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Taipei (PTIC-Taipei), actively participated in Smart Business & Logistics Asia 2025 from 11 to 13 June at Messe Taoyuan to champion the Philippines’ potential in trade and logistics.

The Philippine booth drew interest from Taiwan-based companies in the logistics, smart infrastructure, and supply chain sectors. The country’s growing capabilities in trade facilitation, multimodal logistics, and investment-ready infrastructure, the Philippines’ position as a competitive and strategic hub in the region.

Throughout the event, PTIC-Taipei conducted investment briefings, one-on-one business meetings, and high-level networking with potential partners.

Notably, two investment leads were generated—one in reefer van manufacturing and another in smart fleet management systems, which signifies Taiwan’s concrete interest in expanding collaboration with the Philippines in logistics innovation.

The PTIC-Taipei’s strategic participation on these engagements reflects the Philippines’ broader push in enhancing trade and investment linkages with Taiwan, particularly in digital transformation, sustainability, and regional integration. ♦
