Taipei, Taiwan – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through its Philippine Trade and Investment Center (PTIC) – Taipei and Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), supported the signing of a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) between Taiwan’s leading clean energy company, Shinfox Energy and ComClark Network and Technology Corporation to drive the Philippines’ shift toward renewable energy and smart grid systems.

Combining expertise in energy and telecommunications, the partnership aims to develop large-scale solar, wind, and clean energy infrastructure, integrating advanced solutions to build a smarter, more resilient power system for the country.

The Philippines’ growing energy demand and vast renewable energy potential make it an ideal market for this collaboration. Shinfox Energy, a publicly listed company in Taiwan, brings an extensive portfolio of solar, wind, hydropower, and energy storage projects, as well as leadership in green power sales and AI-enabled energy management. This collaboration builds on ComClark’s robust ICT network and deep local expertise, supporting national energy security and the country’s climate commitments.

Beyond a single project, this partnership—strengthened by PTIC-Taipei and MECO—represents a shared vision to integrate energy and digital infrastructure for a sustainable future. With Shinfox’s advanced technologies and ComClark’s local capabilities, the Philippines can look forward to faster, smarter, and more sustainable energy development, laying the foundation for the country’s green and digital transformation. ♦
