HONG KONG SAR, 8 June 2025 – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of the Philippines, through its overseas trade and investment office in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) and Macau SAR, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Hong Kong (PTIC-HK), participated in Art Hong Kong Expo (AHKE) 2025, held from 30 May to 2 June at the AsiaWorld-Expo.

This year marks PTIC-HK’s first participation in the AHKE, showcasing the paintings of twelve (12) artists from Guhit Kulay International, a Filipino migrant artist collective established in May 2017, which aims to provide a platform for migrants to proudly display their artworks. The 12 artists include Jhoan Estrera, Cristina B. Cayat, Lenin Galvez Flores, Maria Christina Anire, Dong Eludo, Marichel Tomines, Cecil Eduarte, Edwin Santos, Angie Brotamonte, Rosalie Dulay Razon, Devine Dela Torre, and Arlene Madriaga.

The Philippine participation was a good platform not only to showcase the creatives from the Philippines but also the different sites and sceneries in the Philippines.
