Beijing, China — In celebration of the 50-year Philippines-China diplomatic relations, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Beijing (PTIC-Beijing), supported the 2025 Philippine Fair held on April 26, 2025.

The event, hosted by the Philippine Embassy in Beijing, reinforced DTI’s commitment to cultural diplomacy and promotion of Philippine products in the Chinese market.

The PTIC-Beijing booth showcased Filipino craftsmanship and innovation through a curated selection of products, including guilt-free and nutritious snacks, natural personal care items, artisan plush toys, specialty liquors, and refreshing calamansi juice. A standout feature was the Calamansi Tasting Station, which attracted steady crowds and served over 300 tasting cups of freshly made juice using Weambard’s premium puree and official recipe. Filipino brands such as GIGA, CAREXHERB, Cocowonder, and VMV Hypoallergenics presented nature-based skincare solutions, while HANSA’s lifelike plush toys delighted both children and adults. The booth also blended cocktail inspiration with cultural storytelling, offering premium Philippine liquors like Mabuhay Manila, Calamansi Mojito, and Lakan’s traditional coconut spirit—strengthening the country’s reputation for artisanal quality and innovative mixology.

Additionally, PTIC-Beijing supported Philippine brand Oishi, specialty exporter Lionheart, and Chinese distributor Prestige in showcasing their products at the fair. Oishi highlighted its rich company history and longstanding partnership with Chinese counterparts, exemplifying successful bilateral business ties. Lionheart promoted its premium coconut-based products, including specialty condiments made from coconut, while Prestige featured a diverse selection of coconut products alongside Philippine-made chips and biscuits, further expanding the reach of high-quality Filipino goods in the market.

PTIC-Beijing connected Philippine suppliers with interested buyers by promoting the upcoming International Food Exhibition (IFEX) in Manila, as well as existing platforms for sourcing Philippine products, including the JD Philippine Pavilion (operated by Prestige), the Dawn Trade Mini-program, and the Food Philippines.

The event welcomed attendees from industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and key players from various sectors, providing a platform for valuable discussions, business opportunities, and potential collaborations.

Through PTIC-Beijing’s active support and participation in the Fair, the vibrancy of Philippine culture and commerce was prominently showcased, contributing to the strengthening of economic and diplomatic ties with China. By promoting local products and fostering strategic partnerships, PTIC-Beijing continues to affirm its commitment to advancing trade and investment opportunities for the Philippines.
