
The Rizal Exporters and Manufacturers Association, Inc. (REMAI), in partnership with the Provincial Offices of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), successfully conducted a reverse trade fair entitled CREATIVE RIZAL: A Corporate Giveaways Show on February 12, 2025, at Marco Polo Ortigas Manila. This reverse trade fair is part of the CREATIVE Rizal Project, a grant-supported initiative under the DOLE Integrated Livelihood Program, aimed at empowering local manufacturers and artisans.
Spearheaded by Project Management leads Dante Caoile of Scents and Memories and Rachelle Cerera-Leones of Creativly Studio, the event brought together 110 key industry buyers, including corporations, government agencies, non-government organizations, and local government units (LGUs), providing them direct access to Rizal-based manufacturers and creative enterprises. Newly elected REMAI President Faw Maridul emphasized the event’s significance as a business-matching platform that connects REMAI as local suppliers with corporate buyers seeking high-quality and one-of-a kind giveaways and customized gifts.
The event was attended by honored guests, including DTI Region 4-A Assistant Regional Director Revelyn Cortez, Design Center of the Philippines – Design Services Division Chief Carla Mae Leonor and Rizal Tourism Officer Dr. Corazon S. Laserna who all expressed support and commended the efforts in fostering economic opportunities for the Rizalenyos.



Among the key highlight of the event was the launching of new product designs, developed through the design consultancy assistance of the Design Center of the Philippines (DCP) to the members. The collaboration aims to innovate and enhance the marketability of Rizal-made products.

The successful execution of this Reverse Trade Fair highlights the strong collaboration between REMAI, DTI, and various stakeholders committed to nurturing Rizal’s creative and manufacturing sectors, thereby strengthening local businesses and promoting economic growth. ♦
