Officials of DTI-Laguna Provincial Office, Negosyo Center Calauan, Department of Agriculture, Department of Labor and Employment, and the Local Government Unit of Calauan during the Kadiwa ng Pangulo held at the Provincial Training Center of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority - Laguna Lake Development Authority in Calauan, Laguna.

Calauan, Laguna — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna), through Negosyo Center Calauan, joined forces with national offices, i.e., Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and the Local Government Unit of Calauan, and participated in a nationwide simultaneous run of Kadiwa ng Pangulo (KNP) held at the Provincial Training Center of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority – Laguna Lake Development Authority (TESDA-LLDA) in Calauan, Laguna, on January 30, 2025.

The program was officially opened with remarks from Catherine B. Torres, Center Administrator of the TESDA-LLDA Provincial Training Center, who warmly welcomed all guests and jobseekers. She introduced the event’s 5th anniversary theme, FAB@5, which highlights the importance of flexibility, agility, and braveness—qualities that Technical Vocational Education and Training instills in its graduates to help them navigate an ever-evolving world.

DOLE Laguna Provincial Director Guido Recio and DTI Laguna Provincial Director Christian Ted Tungohan also expressed their support for the event. Additionally, TESDA IV-A Regional Director Archie A. Grande, CESO III, commended the Provincial Training Center for its bold mission of empowering individuals with transformative skills. He reiterated his full backing for the center’s future endeavors to further enhance its programs and partnerships, in line with the TESDA slogan, “Kayang-kaya.”

The event was also attended by Atty. Erwin N. Aquino, DOLE IV-A Regional Director; Zoraida V. Amper, TESDA Laguna Provincial Director; and Engr. Rodson Del Mundo, representative of the Provincial Public Employment Service Office.

DTI encourages micro, small, and medium enterprises to showcase and sell their products at the Kadiwa ng Pangulo to promote locally made goods and increase their market reach. Additionally, Puregold is also supporting this initiative.
