In Photo: DTI-Laguna Joins Go Negosyo’s 3M on Wheels at SM Center San Pedro City

San Pedro City – The Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship “Go Negosyo” is back with its entrepreneurship mentoring roadshow tagged as the “3M on Wheels (Mentorship, Money, and Market)”, this time making its stop at SM Center San Pedro City on February 8, 2025.

As the Official Program Partner for 3M on Wheels, the Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna), led by its Provincial Director Christian Ted O. Tungohan, showed its unwavering support for the event by providing mentees for the program and promotion through various online and offline platforms of the agency.

In addition, the Negosyo Center Booth manned by DTI-Laguna Business Counselors Roxanne Fatima A. Garcia, Nikki Rose M. Repol, and Nicka Jean A. Falic assisted mentees to explore different business ideas and concepts to start up or expand their business, the basics of marketing (e.g., understanding the target market, differentiating the product, and promoting the brand), and how to manage business operations.

Hundreds of aspiring and existing entrepreneurs gathered at the Event Center of SM Center San Pedro hoping to gain insights and support for their business ventures. Onsite mentorship for capacity building development of entrepreneurs was provided, and variety of access to financial assistance programs and market growth opportunities was also offered to help entrepreneurs from various industries like food, retail, agriculture, tourism, and services, among others, to achieve their business’ sustainable scale-up.

The event was hosted by Mr. RJ Ledesma, Chief Innovating Officer of Mercato Centrale. The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Calamba City Charter President Sherill Quintana (also a Chairman of the Philippine Franchise Association) delivered the welcome remarks and inspiring message for all the attendees. In addition, DTI-Laguna Provincial Director Tungohan delivered message of support and extended his gratitude for the continuous partnership and previously conducted successful collaborations with Go Negosyo. On the other hand, Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez and Laguna 2nd District Representative Ruth Hernandez sent their messages of support through their representative, Capt. Ernesto Doncillo. Moreover, Content Creator Juliana Denise shared how micro, small, and medium enterprises can effectively market their products online and learn to become brand influencers.

The event highlighted the one-on-one mentoring from Go Negosyo’s veteran entrepreneurship mentors comprising successful business owners, top executives, and respected business consultants with the like of Mr. Eric Caeg, Ms. Yolly Dela Cruz, Mr. Bryan Lato, Mr. Renel Batralo, Mr. Jerry Yao, Ms. Leah Ayeng, Ms. Girlie Sarmiento, and Mr. Rommel Viloria, and more. In addition, the money and market partners has been incorporated in the 3M on Wheels to complement the mentorship session. Exhibitors were available during the program proper where mentees (both existing and aspiring) could sign up and inquire. Finance service providers introduced entrepreneurs to facilities for small-business loans, while specialists in different marketing channels introduced solutions that cover establishing physical stores and digital platforms, logistics solutions, and digital payment platforms.
