The Manila Water Company Metrology Center formally receiv~d the certificate of reaccreditation to PNS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the Department of Trade and Industry’s Philippine Accreditation
Bureau (DTI-PAB) on April 04, 2017. PAB Assistant Director Ernani M. Dionisio and OIC of PAB Laboratory Accreditation Division Ms. Perla Baje, awarded the certificate. The scope of
accreditation is the calibration of flow measuring devices specifically for water meters.

The Manila Water Company Metrology Center (MWCMC) successfully complied with the requirements of the Philippine National Standard International Organization for Standardization/
International Electrotechnical Commission (PNS 190/IEC) 17025:2005. The PNS ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard that specifies the general requirements for the competence of a testing
and calibration laboratory to carry out tests and/or calibrations. Their accreditation to this international standard is a testament that their laboratory conducts valid and correct calibration
results to their customers through organized processes performed by competent personnel.

As of 31 March 2017, there are 181 testing laboratories, 39 calibration laboratories, 6 medical laboratories and 4 inspection bodies accredited by DTI-PAB.♦
