
Tayabas City – The Department of Trade and Industry – Quezon conducted the Kapatid Mentor Micro-Entrepreneurship Quezon Province: A Collaborative Forum Providing Network and Opportunities Exchange (KMME QUEntuhan) last December 16, 2024, at the St. Jude Coop Hotel and Event Center in Tayabas City. This event brought together KMME-MME Online graduates from 2020 to 2024 for a day of networking, learning, and sharing. The event was facilitated by Ms. Mary Grace B. Marzan of iLearn Professional Solution Inc.
KMME QUEntuhan featured several key speakers and presentations. Ms. Anna Marie V. Quincina, Chief of the Business Development Division, welcomed the participants, emphasizing the event’s importance in connecting KMME-MME Online graduates. Assistant Regional Director Revelyn A. Cortez delivered a supportive message, and Ms. Jaryz Eden Lloce, Provincial KMME Focal, presented the program’s accomplishments. Mr. Paul Anthony De Guzman of PCE-Go Negosyo provided insights into the KMME program, various mentorship opportunities, and the process of becoming a Go Negosyo mentor, outlining various summits, mentorship programs, and supplementary programs available. The criteria and application process for becoming a Go Negosyo Mentor were also discussed. Fintech partners like Landbank, Maya, Asian Vision Enterprise, PLDT Enterprise, and Smart also presented their services.
The afternoon session highlighted inspiring stories from selected KMME mentees, who shared their experiences and the impact of the program on their businesses. They discussed how KMME helped them with business planning, financial management, digitalization, and overall business growth. Finally, the event included an introduction to the 1st Provincial KMME Summit, with proposed themes such as “Empowering Growth,” “Future-ready enterprises,” “Digital Transformation,” “Driving Sustainable Entrepreneurship,” “Challenges to Opportunities,” “Connecting Community,” and “Resiliency.” These themes included proposed sessions, speakers, and networking opportunities, aiming to provide further support and development for micro-entrepreneurs in Quezon Province. Provincial Director Julieta L. Tadiosa closed the event with a message of thanks and continued support.
