Particpants of the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay orientation

Teresa, Rizal – The NSB program is a flagship initiative by DTI, designed to provide direct business support services to local entrepreneurs, particularly those in underserved communities. By offering access to vital resources, information, and support, the program aims to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to grow their businesses, create employment opportunities, and contribute to local economic development.

The orientation was facilitated by Negosyo Center Business Counselors Jocelyn Ferrer (Antipolo City) and Jeff Isaac Francisco (Teresa) under the supervision of Senior Trade & Industry Development Specialist Marlene De Luna. During the orientation, DTI Rizal emphasized the comprehensive suite of services available through the NSB program. 10 (4 from Antipolo, 6 from Teresa) participants were introduced to strategies for business development, skills enhancement, and resource management, ensuring that they are well-prepared to tackle challenges and seize opportunities in their respective industries.

The seminar also underscored DTI’s broader advocacy for information dissemination and capacity building, highlighting programs that address the unique needs of MSMEs in Teresa and Antipolo.

With a focus on fostering inclusive growth, the NSB program equips barangay-based entrepreneurs with the tools they need to expand their ventures and achieve sustainability. ♦
